8050770377 [compute|aws] Fix & improve some tests. 
Use m1.small flavor with gentoo ami; smallest
flavor that supports instance storage.

Expect nullable strings for these attributes:
* snapshot descriptions
* tag descriptions
* volume snapshotIds

Whitespace cleanup.
