Xavier Noria bbb84a1721 restores the regexp used in String#blank? 
This commit undoes 54243fe.

Reason: Further investigation has shown the benefit is not so clear
generally speaking.

There is a long discussion and several benchmarks in the PR #24658

= Active Support -- Utility classes and Ruby extensions from Rails

Active Support is a collection of utility classes and standard library
extensions that were found useful for the Rails framework. These additions
reside in this package so they can be loaded as needed in Ruby projects
outside of Rails.

The latest version of Active Support can be installed with RubyGems:
