Andrew White cf3364a03c Raise NameError instead of ArgumentError in ActiveSupport::Dependencies ActiveSupport::Dependencies now raises NameError if it finds an existing constant in load_missing_constant. This better reflects the nature of the error which is usually caused by calling constantize on a nested constant. Closes #1423		2011-06-01 01:16:20 +01:00

= Active Support -- Utility classes and Ruby extensions from Rails

Active Support is a collection of utility classes and standard library
extensions that were found useful for the Rails framework. These additions
reside in this package so they can be loaded as needed in Ruby projects
outside of Rails.

The latest version of Active Support can be installed with Rubygems:

  % [sudo] gem install activesupport
