Robin Dupret afc98eadb8 Avoid raising a NameError on FreeBSD using Date The Date object has a xmlschema method starting with Ruby 1.9 so we were assuming that we could safely remove this method and redefine it later but the call to remove_method throws a NameError on FreeBSD so we should rely on remove_possible_method instead. This call is actually needed to avoid warnings when running the test suite. Fixes #11723		2014-01-01 15:29:24 +01:00

= Active Support -- Utility classes and Ruby extensions from Rails

Active Support is a collection of utility classes and standard library
extensions that were found useful for the Rails framework. These additions
reside in this package so they can be loaded as needed in Ruby projects
outside of Rails.

The latest version of Active Support can be installed with RubyGems:

  % [sudo] gem install activesupport
